I know there's something we can do- [Cloud grunts in frustration, scowling.]

I feel like I haven't changed anything from when I first got here.

Nothing's changed... nothing at all. The only thing we might have on our side is those traitors, but they've just given us more questions.

...You think that John guy's still down there?

Doesn't sound like he's moved at all. As long as there's a barrier protecting him, he's got no reason to leave.

I think it'd be worth it just fine if we didn't have to fight for it. Less bloodshed that way.

But then people would take it for granted. Before Nibelheim, I know I did.

[Skeptical snort, and Cloud pushes himself up on his hands to give Zack a Look.] Look at us how? What exactly have we gotten done that's helped us at all?

[Don't you give him that look, he's the eternal optimist, remember? >:|] We've expanded our territory. We've found places where they can't watch us. We've made potential allies with their ranks. We've organized groups of people to work together. There's friends here, families - even us. You wouldn't have Simon without this place, and you didn't think you could've gotten me back on our world until you came here, did you? I'd call that progress. All of that and plenty more.
