Look, assuming we all even have souls on my world, it probably has to do with the Spirit World. All of that is just mystical stuff to begin with.

It doesn't really, it's just creepy to think about.

It is pretty creepy. A living planet? I've had bugs crawl on me before. My first instinct is to squash them.

No. That isn't the creepy part. The creepy part is thinking that this thing might just be some dead piece of rock just waiting to snap and send us all flying off into space.

... we're inside an enclosure with crazy scientists who routinely turn us into kids, girls, animals, and other stuff... we've got a bunch of crazy guys who want to kill us, and supposedly random Shifts can happen that do weird stuff to us at any given moment...

And that's what you're worried about.

If there is, do we really want to find out? I mean, sure, the coming back to life thing is kind of unnatural, but I'm not exactly complaining.

Except that the people who need to stay dead won't. Like crazy psychos who like killing people.
