I still don't understand how it works. I'm supposed to go save Simon, but he's here now, as a child, and you seem pretty determined to take him back to your world with you. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

I'm not here to start an argument or anything, Cloud. I'm just worried for the sake of the world, and for his sake, too. Especially now that he has the Core Drill.

...there's a lot of things that don't add up. Your past still happened, so obviously Simon went back somehow. But the Simon that I met from the future -he was twenty-seven- he said...he went back when he was still seven. But...from a moment that's already passed. And Simon's still here.
