herobydefault: (What's that now?)

(no subject)

Since Leto's waxing philosophical, I might as well follow the trend.

If the Malnosso didn't exist, would you rather stay here or go back to your own world?

Neither. I'd rather travel to different worlds.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it was my original plan before I ended up here.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
What, do move around between worlds? You could do that?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 07:51 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah. Planet type worlds, anyway. I could travel there in my shuttle. Though...I never did make it anywhere new before ending up here.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
...shuttle? Is that like a rocket?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
Well, spaceship would be a simpler term for it.

Spaceship...so kind of like a rocket, but...shaped like a boat?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
Um, no. You know what, let's just go with rocket.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Either way, it does the same thing, right? I guess space travel is kind of common where you're from.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
In some places. It all depends on how advanced you are, really. There are some more...primitive beings out there too. It also depends on what time you're from.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess. We haven't really hit space travel on Gaia except for the bare minimum.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm sure you'll get there. In all honesty, the people on Messaline didn't know much about space travel either. They just happened to have the technology from earlier generations, and you could say that I just borrowed it.

Not so sure about getting there. Is space travel really that important?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose not. But I don't much like staying in one place for too long.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-22 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
If we figure out how to work whatever the Malnosso are using you could use that to Planet-jump instead of your rocket.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-22 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
True, but where's the fun in that?

I like traveling in a shuttle. There's more adventure. More surprises. After all, things don't just happen on planets, you know.

[identity profile] herobydefault.livejournal.com 2009-01-22 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
...What can happen in space?

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-22 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Lots of things. There are ships, and space stations out there with so many different beings. Some good, some bad.

[identity profile] mydadsthedoctor.livejournal.com 2009-01-22 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
It is. Or atleast that's what I've heard.
