Okay. Giving this a shot.

(If there's any new arrivals -kids- that need a place to stay- like, with people, adults, to cook and take care of them- laundry and school, homework, helping with things and not creepy, who misses their parents?

this is hard, is it working?

I'm. Cloud.)

If that didn't get picked up, or was... You know, it's hard keeping your thoughts straight. If there are any new arrivals that don't feel comfortable living on their own -younger kids, anybody used to living with their parents- we have room in the seventh community building. I'm Cloud, or you can talk to Raine Loire about it, too. I hope that's okay, Raine.

(next, next, what's next, I should have wrote this down damn it)

[Locked from Asch and Zack//extremely hackable since his thoughts are all over and probably show how to decipher his lock]

Also, if there's anyone (not Asch) who can use a-...not a short sword, but a normal-sized one I guess (who isn't an asshole) that doesn't mind sparring with me, I'd appreciate it if we...y'know, could.

[/Locked]

Walter, I'd like a second of your time if you have it. (test test, test test

I want to add an addition on to the Seventh Heaven bar, I need your help, I don't know how to build things Stella help me out

i'll owe you.

tifa would be happy with it, tifa needs a pick-me-up, tifa misses the kids i'm thinking too much about it)

Enough of that.

[Traits, again. Maybe there is a pattern.]

A guidance counsellor recently showed up. Y'know--a real one. Maybe she can work her psychological magic on the youngsters.

[Having not actually caught the woman's name, Buffy is glad to receive it second hand.]

Recruit her, then. A professional like her? She should be able to get right in and show them how it's the right thing to do. I think that's how it works.

People don't usually react well to being told they need help.

Which is exactly why counsellors are trained in how to tell people those things without all the nasty, unfortunate reactions. Or--at the very least? Talk to her about offering her services out to the kids. Maybe they don't want to be told they need help, but at least then they'd have someone to go to when they figure it out on their own and need to ask someone about it.

[Pause--she considers simply thinking this, but:] And face it, chatter-box. You don't exactly come across as a champion conversationalist. Maybe she's the best PR you could ever get.

No, see--I talk a lot. Which totally sends all that delicious chatter-box irony into mootsville when you try and pin it on me. Now, call you a chatter-box and it's funny because you're not. Or you weren't. Or--[confusion. He used to not talk, but he's been talking more and more and maybe the joke's not even funny. Better go for the distraction tactic.]

What do you mean, what about me?

So why not you?

Because...that's a very good question, Cloud. [What the Hell am I supposed to say?]

Look. The first and last and only time I was ever hired as a guidance counsellor? I had no credentials. No experience guiding and-slash-or counselling kids. And it turned out the principal only hired me as insurance against the spooktastic supernatural stuff going down in the school's basement. [Which makes it--once again--all about the mojo. Yay me.]

So now you've got the real deal chilling out, here in Luceti? Don't look a gift counsellor in the mouth.

No, wait. [grr argh mental flailing] That? That was not one of those emo-tastic what you think you know me thoughts. Nope. No siree. It was more the oh he thinks he knows me and maybe trusts me flavour of thought. Close--so I can totally get the confusion--but we're talking two totally different breeds of animals here. Like, totally different zoos, even.

Hence the being the flattered and, no, I will not be forgetting anything and--damn it. This week sucks.

Okay look.

I don't like shrinks. And by association, I don't like counselors. Probably a dick move on my behalf, but honestly I'm beyond caring.

I'm sure she's nice. In fact, I'm very sure she's nice . But I know you better and Aerith knows you and likes you, so I trust you a little better. So if you don't wanna do anything, tell me and I'll drop it. It's not a big deal anyway.

Or maybe you should get with her yourself. There's nothing wrong with being a Slayer-turned-counselor.

You know what? I'm surprisingly comfortable with winging it. I'll guess this is a little more active than at Sunnydale High, 'cause there it was mostly a case of sitting in an office and waiting for the troubles to come to you. But I'll get the word out--go out of my way to talk to some more of Luceti's youth.

[...Bones and Spike better be damned pleased I'm doing something that doesn't involve immediate physical danger.]

Tifa and I used to live in a building with a bar on the first floor and housing on the second. We're gonna remodel the one here to resemble that.
