[The smile helps relax him a little bit, though his heart's still thudding in his chest. Was he this nervous his first time with Zack? He can't remember.

Cloud glances behind himself before looking at her again, not wanting to do something stupid like back into a wall, and threads their fingers just a bit.] I have a couple. I'm open to more suggestions, though.

[She flexes her fingers as their hands join, glancing behind him too--she doesn't want him backing into something or tripping either. Talk about a mood wrecker.]

I'll tell you when I come up with something really good. [A gander at her thought bubble may show she's already working on ideas, since she's picturing them on her bed, clothes optional. BUT she's not getting too far with that yet because here is her room and why just think when the bed is that close? So she lets go of one hand to open up the door.]

[It's a bit surreal; sure, they'd probably assumed things, that they'd eventually get this far. Cloud had, at least. And of course he'd wanted to. But things were always just so...

Well. Something always came up.

But as Aerith opened the door and they entered her bedroom, it really hits Cloud that hey, this time they might actually make it. So he does the intelligent thing and -after glimpsing that thought up there and taking a hint- pulls her into a rather involved kiss.]

[Up to this point, Aerith's been focusing more on making it happen--whether "it" was having sex or just making out (since they hadn't really done that in a while either)--that the unprompted kiss takes her a bit by surprise.

But it is a very, very pleasant surprise, and there's no hesitation whatsoever before she returns it, her hand still in his squeezing softly.]

[That she returns the kiss so easily is a clear sign that this is really happening, that he's not just assuming things and that -God willing- they were really going to go all the way. They were really going to do it.

It- have sex. Or maybe make love, whatever she preferred to call it. Cloud wasn't too particular.

He breaks the kiss just for a moment, just long enough to see where he's going as he guides her over to the bed. But he also knows from his past experiences with Zack -and his past experiences with Aerith, for that matter- that he tended to be overeager and hasty and even a little rough, so he consciously makes an effort to keep things slow and sits her and himself down on the mattress.]

[It's probably a marvel of restraint that Cloud's remembering to not be hasty, given Aerith's earlier "Right now!" Yeah, maybe not smart to rush the guy with superhuman strength and not so much intimate experience with flower girls. Speaking of rushing, Aerith was not really planning to have sex. Not that she's getting cold feet--not at all, considering how long she's wanted it--but there are a few seconds of "do I look okay? I must look okay to Cloud. Yes I took a shower today, no I didn't leave anything running", etc.

...and then her knee bumps against the bed. Okay, sitting down.]

We're here. [She takes a breath, smiling again, before she touches her hand to Cloud's cheek and leans back in to kiss him again.]

[Cloud notes mentally that it's probably a good thing that she kissed him instead of giving him time to say something stupid like "oh yeah" or "wait, really" or something else like that.

So they kiss for a while and it's awesome. He hadn't been able to make out with Aerith very often -horribly regrettable, really- and he'll definitely milk this for all it's worth. They may want to eventually get naked and he's already thinking about it, but he doesn't want to rush so he doesn't say anything.

Yeah there's a necklace in the way. Thankfully, however, it does not take up her entire neck, and Cloud settles for below her ears as his hands slide up her arms, shoulders, and down her sides to her hips.]

[It's almost a little ticklish right there, and she laughs lightly. Her body shifts as those hands slide down; and her own hands, well, that one that was on his cheek slides a little to brush into his hair. The other one--maybe it's too early for clothes to come off, but can it be too early for sneaking up inside the shirt to feel up? Because it'd like to.]

Aerith...cannot do anything that smooth with her dress, and there's even a little thought bubble about this conundrum of too many buttons. [Dammit woman, don't answer his thoughts. He doesn't really know what she's talking about -since the thoughts were a little convoluted- and just chalks it up to her being strange. Again.

But- ffff. This is so weird; he's so used to being kissed by Zack, who is generally rough and sharp and...well. Different. But Aerith is soft and her lips are soft and she smells so good... He tilts his head to give her more room, and blows out a breath to avoid making some embarrassing groan when all she's doing is kissing his neck.
